Photo was taken at FUK Airport
Standing near by one engine of A330 aircraft
that has given me a very strong feeling of excitement & impression
so I asked myself why would this thing impress me a lot..
I say "engine is the main part of aircraft,
without it, people can't fly,
can't know people from other countries,
can't learn their cultures, etc..."
Here I am wearing in CX uniform with my big smile & knowledge
that represents the spirit of CX Cabin crew is here for safety
& also provides our best service to our passenger.
Our goal is alwaysto hear passenger saying "Thank You" to all of us at the end of the flight.

flying to NY from Vancouver this evening
the flight was very quiet that only had 67 pax in Y class
our ism assigned crew rest period for us that we had chance to take our rests sitting at First class
first time for me to sit in F .. that's very interesting to me...

^ ^ but the flight was little delayed upon arrival
the weather was so bad on the way to JFK
the wind was so strong with heavy rainning
i can even heard the noisy rainning sound inside the aircraft from the outside bad & scary... :'(

It's sad for us to hear the leaving news from one of my colleague Rachel,
but i'm sure she had made a very good decision
that not to be a flight attentant as her future career
she's still young.. i think that it's good to make a "move on"
to see other things by working in other industry
i'm getting tired flying too... hopefully in some day..,,
something can bring me courage that make myself to move on as her too
but i knew i'd gonna miss to travel places...
anyway.. i do really happy for her & good luck to her in future

until 26th end of Jan after done my LAX flt

最佳上司
能成為下屬、同事眼中的好上司，需要真材實料不在話下，要讓人心悅誠服更需要真心關懷下屬及同事的利益。

開門見山
新官上任，應如何紓緩繃緊的氣氛，同時表現自己的處事作風？Helen Hunt 在《偷聽女人心》中飾演新入職的創作總監，在首次簡介會中，她就以幽默的方式做開場白，她說︰「我初入行時曾兩次申請入職這間公司，卻不被人事部接見。」然後她再扼要地說明公司正面對的危機，自己願意和同事共同進退，著重團隊精神等，這種說法很親民，也明確指出公司的發展方向，令同事受落。

知人善用，關懷下屬
上司不知人善用，令公司損失良才，下屬亦易生離心。Mel Gibson 在《偷聽女人心》中飾演高級創作經理，一直忽視助手的資歷及訴求，只給她雞毛蒜皮的任務，令她心裡非常不滿；對於任職了兩年總務文員的轉職要求，他一直不聞不問或借故推辭，令她覺得自己不受重視，萌生輕生念頭。人是感情動物，職場上除了理性外，上司亦應顧及下屬的需求及感受，彼此的合作才愉快。在《貼身情人》裡，哈佛法律系高材生 Sandra Bullock 被上司 Hugh Grant 當「阿四」，下班後經常收到追魂 call，令她忍無可忍要辭職。這是「惡魔」上司的典範，各位請緊記！

為下屬爭取權益
下屬和公司的利益有衝突時，如何處理？梁詠琪在《女人本色》中飾演財務總監兼管人事部，雖然公司財政緊絀，她卻為茶水部員工被推翻房屋貸款一事與上司極力爭取，其後她為了平息罷工潮，承諾所有員工一起減薪。不同職級的員工也是公司的資源，作為管理層，如果連基層員工的福利也不能捍衛，其他員工及外界更加對公司失去信心。

最佳上司 Dos and Donts
*Open minded 的上司能增加員工創作力及對公司的歸屬感。
*選擇輕鬆的環境，定期和下屬傾談，彼此了解工作情況和留意員工的情緒。
*只懂擺官腔，缺乏明確的方向及要求；講一套，做一套，向員工許不能兌現的承諾。

不擺老闆架子
從事服務行業事事以客為先，擁有多年代理著名品牌經驗的 Carsac 創辦人康虞茱迪分享她的職場相處之道。

根據過往的經驗，你如何應付挑剔的客人？
我覺得挑剔的客人分兩類。第一類屬於追求完美，見識廣博，面對這些客人，自己更要做足準備工夫，表現出專業、有果斷的分析及決策力，叫他們信服。第二類是無理取鬧型，唯有以真誠及禮貌的態度去應付。保持笑容及細心了解客人的需要後，才提出適合的建議，可減低碰釘機會。有耐性及真誠的態度能令挑剔的客人成為你的熟客。

你如何與下屬相處？
認真的放鬆是我一直抱著的工作宗旨。我不喜歡在下屬面前擺出老闆模樣，希望大家工作認真之餘，氣氛都是輕鬆的，當然基本的尊重不可沒有。面對一些不太自律的員工，我對他們會較嚴厲，像教學一樣，對下屬也要因材施教。下屬表現未如理想，我會給他們機會去改善，但時限也很重要。

忍氣吞聲並不代表你是一位好下屬，最重要是在適當場合展現自己的長處及自我反省。

忍氣有價
下屬在甚麼情況下才有必要忍受挑剔、說話刻薄的上司？《穿 Prada 的惡魔》的女主角 Anne Hathaway 的理想是當記者，但因為缺乏經驗而碰壁，胡裡胡塗地進入了一間國際著名的時裝雜誌社當總編輯的助手。縱使 Meryl Streep 飾演的上司說話刻薄、對她的要求極之苛刻，但為著前途，Anne 依然容忍，久而久之她亦開始由埋怨、不屑時裝潮流玩意到嘗試了解自身工作背後的理念及意義，最後憑著出色的表現，獲得上司的嘉許，成功「上位」。「惡魔」上司雖難應付，但只要你投入工作，努力嘗試及多與上司溝通，你的表現是會被賞識的，最強橫的上司也會軟化。待若干時候，你得到的好處可能是千金難求，像 Anne 最後憑著前公司的名氣及上司推薦，成功進入理想的公司工作，可說是先苦後甜。

爭取機會
職場上，有很多人可能害怕被其他人覺得自己 aggressive，而沒有盡力向上司爭取表現的機會。Michelle Pfeiffer在《捨不得你》中，最初只是編導 Robert Redford 的助手。她向 Redford 積極爭取成為天氣報道員，卻只被叫去買咖啡。有一次，天氣報道員拒絕穿上尷尬的雨衣，Michelle 立刻推薦自己，最終獲得機會，後來更被晉升為記者。職場如戰場，選擇適合的時機，主動跟上司溝通、爭取機會並不是甚麼可恥事，相反，這是積極自信的表現。另一個反面教材則是
《打工女郎》中的女主角 Mary，她積極地向上司 Sigourney Weaver 提議計劃，但當她發現自己的建議被上司盜用後，就和上司鬧翻。劇情有點誇張，但意念被偷這等事情每天也在職場裡發生，如果還想繼續留在公司，應沉著應戰或待時機成熟時調職，否則一拍兩散不成，最終只有自己壯烈犧牲。

最差 candidate
能掌握求職、轉工時面試的溝通技巧，面試自然節節勝利。
面試前，首要是了解有關公司的市場地位及老闆的背景，Anne 在《穿 Prada 的惡魔》裡在完全沒準備下去見工，她的學歷、信心及誠意十足，但在現實世界，她是好大機會被淘汰的，因為單是沒準備地去面試已代表你對這份工作的誠意有限，成功機會亦渺茫。在《BJ 單身日記》中，Renee Zellweger 到多間電視台面試記者職位，她想表現自己知識廣博，卻在沒準備下出洋相，加上前言不對後語，失敗而歸。最後她告訴一位總編輯其轉工原因是因為與前老闆發生了性關係，卻被即時錄用。切記這只是電影的 gimmick，千萬別模仿，天真地以為告訴面試公司一些「震撼性」的故事，對方就會「另眼相看」，別發夢！即使真的成功，都不是在香港。

最佳下屬 Dos and Donts
*環境不會因你而改變，想達至成功，你得適應環境。忍氣可視作磨練，將 impossible task 視為挑戰。就算最初爭取不成功，過程中最重要保持自信與微笑，學習察言觀色。
*和上司遇到紛爭或涉及利益衝突，切忌衝動行事，魯莽地與上司鬧翻，對自己百害而無一利。

Monster 求職網站的銷售總監 Denise Chu 跟我們分享轉工面試及見客的溝通技巧。

轉工面試時，有甚麼要注意及避免談及？
千萬別說舊公司或老闆的壞話，這讓對方覺得你沒有口德，恐防日後自己公司也有「被唱」的危機。換個角度，應該說一些正面的原因，例如舊公司的發展空間有限，沒機會轉崗位等，人望高處是正常的。也要讓對方知道你轉行所冒的風險不比他聘請你為小，對方才能感受你的決心及誠意。

見客時，要注意甚麼？
一個愉快的溝通經驗是能否取得客戶信任的關鍵。見客時，打扮要得體，尊重對方。開場白可以輕鬆的生活逸事帶過，打破嚴肅氣氛。過程中保持微笑及禮貌、挻直腰背，保持眼神接觸及表現自信，說話聲線要適中、柔和中帶衝勁，語調要果斷，內容當然要有組織及邏輯，言之有物最重要。不確定的部分先別給客戶答覆，待查證後才給答案。還要在適當時候當聆聽者，找出與對方的共同話題及興趣，有助建立信任。

Back to Trainning School - Day 1

First Day of AEQ

- Difficult to wake-up
- Keep yawning during in class
- Test every min on each of us
- Feel "super" tired when doing CPR
(1-1 . 1-2 . 1-3 . 1.4 & so on ... ...)
- Always fall into sleep while taking transporation
